My Story
her story
The beginnings of her work date back to her childhood, when she didn't let go of a pencil from her hand and constantly improved her drawings. Main topic for her was and still is man and the beauty of the human body so that's why portraits and figurative drawings were created. Her desire for precision and capturing of human face as faithfully as possible pushed her to the "dry brush" technique, when the resulting work is almost indistinguishable from a photograph. In 2013, her very first exhibition was created in the Mazhaus exhibition space on the main square of her hometown Pardubice under the name "The Portraits of the Great Musicians".
From that moment on, however, she felt the urge to move on, abandon pencil drawing and start using oil colours and brushes as well. After completing a summer course in hyperrealistic painting under the guidance of graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, the first portrait oil paintings were created, and after that, in 2016, she organised her second exhibition at the Pardubices Castle Cafe under the title "From Graphite to Oil".
Enthusiasm for expanding her skills and deepening her experience in the online age pushed her to digital creation, in which she found her love - there is no longer a need to constantly sharpen the pencil, to be afraid of unintentional smearing of graphite, to smell thinners in oil painting, to constantly rinse and clean brushes, etc. ... however, as she soon realised, the work difficulty remains the same, especially with large formats. She currently combines her digital art with advertising and promotional marketing and graphics.
